  2. 2cup wheat flour (300gm)
  3. 4 Potatoes (boiled)
  4. 1/2 cup Curd
  5. 1/2 tsp Carom seeds
  6. 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  7. 1 tsp Salt
  8. 1/4 cup Semolina
  9. For dal:-
  10. 1/2 cup arhar dal
  11. 2 tbsp Split chickpeas
  12. 2 tbsp Ghee
  13. 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  14. 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
  15. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  16. 10-12 Curry leaves
  17. 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  18. 1.5 tsp Coriander powder
  19. 3 Tomato
  20. 2 Green chilli
  21. 1/2 inch Ginger baton
  22. 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  23. as per taste Salt

Instructions to make to make Dal Bati

  1. Blend a 1/4 cup of semolina with a 1/2 cup of curd
  2. Take potatoes, peel and grate them
  3. Take two cup of wheat flour in a bowl, add a teaspoon of salt to it
  4. Add a1/2 tsp of carom seeds after crushing to it
  5. Add a 1/4 tsp of baking soda to it and mix all the ingredients well
  6. Mix the fermented semolina with it along with grated potatoes
  7. Mix and knead all ingredients well use 1to2 tsp of water to knead it
  8. Divide the dough into the smaller sized dough lumps while applying some clarified butter on your palms
  9. Take at oven tray, spread a butter paper over it and coat it with better over it 10 preheat an oven on 250 degrees centigrade for 5 minutes

  15. For the dal:- add 2 tsp of butter in a pressure cooker and add a1/2 tsp of cumin seeds to it
  16. Roast while stirring it and add a 1/2 pinch of asafoetida to it
  17. Add curry leaves after breaking them
  18. Add a 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and a tsp of coriander powder to it
  19. Add the paste of 3 tomatoes,2 green chilli and a 1/2 inch of ginger baton to it
  20. Add a 1/2 tsp of coarsely ground red chilli to it
  21. After roasting the masala mixture, add a 1/2 cup of soaked split chickpeas to it
  22. Stir and roast for 1-2minutes add water to it along with a tsp of salt to it
  23. Close lid of the cooker and turn the flame to high
  24. Cook until the whistles blows, turn the flame to low flame for 4 minutes. Take out the Batis after 4 minutes from the oven
  25. Switch off the flame of pressure cooker after 4 minutes
  26. Open lid of the cooker and mix some chopped green coriander with it
  27. Serve with dal and bati churma laddu yummy and tasty enjoy your plate
